OH, HELLO!

I'm Eli and I am a 28 year old living in Northern Virginia. Life has been full of changes in many ways. A couple months ago, I completed 9 years of service in the US Navy and transitioned into the civilian world. I started my dream job and moved to a brand new city! Unfortunately, 1 month into those exciting events, I was diagnosed with Stage 2 Invasive Breast Cancer.

So, why start BALD & BOUJEE?

Many difficult changes and decisions come with a cancer diagnosis. I want to tell my story in the hopes that it will bring direction and comfort to those starting their journey. I will share the emotions I have felt, resources providing support, and self care products that made this time a little more comfortable.
